The British firm provide VSAT communications to UK-based Expro North Sea
British communications provider Hermes Datacommunications has secured a contract to provide very small aperture terminal (VSAT) communications to UK-based upstream oil and gas company Expro North Sea’s operations in Iraq.
Hermes Datacommunications will manage the entire VSAT network, bandwidth, equipment, installation and support for the Expro Group in Iraq for the next three years.
“We are thrilled to have been selected as the Expro Group telecommunications partner in Iraq. We believe it shows our commitment to the Iraq market and demonstrates our focus on the region as a major player in the oil and gas telecommunications sector,” says Bill des Rosiers, regional business development manager for the Middle East, Hermes Datacommunications.
