Hill awarded three projects in UAE

US-based Hill International has been awarded three project management contracts, in Abu Dhabi, Al-Ain and Ajman.

The first contract is to manage the AED2.4bn ($650m) Nation Towers development in Abu Dhabi.
Located on Abu Dhabi corniche it involves the construction a 65-storey hotel, a 52-storey residential tower and a retail podium.

The total built-up area is about 295,000 square metres. Completion is expected by November 2011.
The local International Capital Trading is the client.

In Al-Ain, Hill will manage the AED600m implementation of an irrigation masterplan on behalf of the local municipality.

The new irrigation networks will serve Al-Ain and the surrounding region’s proposed reservoirs until 2020. Construction is expected to begin in January 2009 and conclude by January 2013.

In Ajman, the firm has been awarded a three-year contract to manage the construction of a AED1.8bn equestrian and residential community.

Known as the Escape, the project will cover an area of 770,000 square metres. It will include villas, townhouses and apartments, a clubhouse, hotel, equestrian centre, show complex, and an equine spa and therapy centre.

Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2008 and be concluded by December 2010.
