Federal courts complex will be built in Khalifa City
US-based Hill International has been appointed by the Emirates Real Estate Corporation (Erec) to provide project management services on the new federal courts complex in Abu Dhabi.
The 32-month contract is worth AED9.5m ($2.6m) and involves managing the construction of the complex, known as Building No 35, in Khalifa City.
It includes courtrooms, offices, a theatre, a gate building, service buildings, roads, parking facilities, and other amenities with a total built-up area of 37,380 square metres.
In November 2013, Hill received a contract extension to continue providing project management consultancy services for the new headquarters complex of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) located in the UAE capital. The two-year contract extension has an estimated value to Hill of approximately $13.3m.
