The three hotels will be operated by the local Al-Habtoor Group with Hilton branding

The local Al-Habtoor Group and US-based hotel operator Hilton have signed a franchise agreement for the three hotels at the Habtoor City development in Dubai.

The franchise deal comes as the management deal for the three hotels with another US operator Marriott ended on 31 July.

Change means that Al-Habtoor Group will assume complete management control of the hotels that will operate as Hilton brands and benefit from Hilton’s international booking network.

The St. Regis Dubai is now the Habtoor Palace, LXR Hotels & Resorts; the W Dubai Al-Habtoor City is now the V Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton; and the The Westin Dubai Al-Habtoor City has become the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City.

The Habtoor Palace is a 234-guest room luxury hotel, the V Hotel has 356 guest rooms, the property represents next generation art and design and is also the location for Dubai’s first resident show, La Perle by Dragone, and the Hilton has 1,004 guest rooms.

The hotels at Al-Habtoor City opened in 2016. The properties were built on the site of the former Metropolitan Hotel that was redeveloped while the Dubai Water Canal was constructed. The development also includes residential properties that are still under construction.
