HP has said it has completed the acquisition of California-based software security and services provider Fortify Software, Associated Press has reported. Fortify will run as a standalone business before being integrated into HP’s broader software division. Fortify helps businesses identify and fix security weaknesses in their computer systems. The two firms began marketing their software security technology as a package last year.
