Description: The Mina Salman Interchange project represents a major part of Bahrains National Vision to upgrade the existing national Strategic Road Plan along two VIP routes: the Sheikh Isa bin Salman Highway and Al-Fateh Highway. It provides a signal-free traffic flow from Sheikh Isa bin Salman Highway to Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Causeway through an underpass with three lanes on each side, and to Al-Fatah Highway through a left-turn flyover. The flyover is a two-lane, seven-span bridge resting on six intermediate piers and an abutment at either end of the structure. The project also includes construction at grade junctions and associated slip roads to Mina Salman port, the Industrial Area, Al-Fateh Highway and Salman Industrial City.
