IBM has reported that its first-quarter revenue fell to $21.71bn from $24.50bn a year earlier, compared with analysts' average forecast of $22.56bn, according to an estimate by Reuters. Net profit for the quarter dropped 1% to $2.30 billion, from $2.32 billion in the year-ago quarter.
