A consortium led by Bahrain’s Al Salam Bank has signed an agreement with Ikea to open a 30,000 sq m outlet in the kingdom. The consortium is developing a new $100m, 100,000 sq m mall, which will be anchored by the world’s largest furniture retailer. The mall is scheduled for opening in 2014.
