India’s Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a $127m contract for the construction of a cancer hospital in Muscat.
L&T says the hospital will be equipped with high end facilities such as intensive care units, high dependency units, chemotherapy bays, medical imaging units, and oncology radiation units.
According to regional projects tracker MEED Projects L&T has $1.4bn of work under way in the sultanate. Its largest contract is valued at $256m and covers work on the Bidbid to Sur road scheme for the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
