Intel Corporation on Wednesday said it has no plans to cut jobs in the Middle East and Africa despite an expected slowdown in its business. Ferhad Patel, Intel's Regional Markets Development Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa said the global recession has had little impact on Intel's operations in the region. He added that the company plans to move forward with a regional investment programme that is in line with its global commitment to invest in local companies and encourage entrepreneurship to help provide communities with useful technology platforms, he added.
