The scope of work includes the design of roads, drainage and other services for the project.
The development of the Ghantoot Green City project will be split into 12 phases, with the first covering 6.2 square kilometres. The total built-up area for phase one will be about 18.5 million square metres, and will include residential properties and hotels along the coast.
The Ghantoot Green City project will cover an area of 60 square kilometres and will include a commercial centre, hotels, office blocks, residential developments, warehousing and light industrial areas (MEED 11:4:08).
