Internet returns to normal in Middle East

06 January 2009

Repairs to the internet in the Middle East have been completed and connections across the region should return to normal today following outages that began on the morning of Dec 19. No official explanation has been given for the outages, but experts speculate that a possible undersea earthquake was the cause.
