Ipic plans to build headquarters in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi’s International Petroleum Investment Company (Ipic) has approached companies for the contract to build a new headquarters building in the UAE capital.

Work is scheduled to start in November on the project which involves the construction of a 35-floor office building. It will consist of offices for Ipic and other offices that will be leased out.

There will also be two basement floors under the plot which will be used for a car park and service areas. The total built-up area is about 145,000 square metres.

The UK’s Atkins is the consultant.
