Companies have until 29 September to submit bids for the water project

Iran’s Hormozgan Regional Water Authority has invited companies to provide an expression of interest (EOI) for the contract to provide project management consulting services (PMC) for a dam and water supply project in Iran.

The work will involve providing PMC services for the Sarney Dam and water supply system project, which will transfer water from the dam to Minab, Bandar Abbas and neighbouring villages and water treatment plant. The project is expected to be financed by the Islamic Development Bank.

Companies have until 29 September to submit the EOI.

The project is part of Iran’s efforts to improve its power and water networks. In July, Iran’s Khuzestan Water and Power Authority announced it was looking for private developers to carry out seven run-of-river hydropower projects and two wind power projects in western Iran.
