The engineering, procurement, construction and drilling tender covers the drilling of three offshore wells, construction of well head equipment, a 25 kilometre, 8-inch pipeline and a production platform. Firms who are interested have been asked to contact IOOC ahead of a second announcement on 13 December. Earlier in December, IOOC issued a tender for the giant Lavan gas field which boasts recoverable gas resources estimated at more than 6 trillion cubic feet (tcf).
