Iran to build more steam power plants

Iran Power Development Co is planning to build more steam power plants in the country to boost the country's power generation capacity by 5,000 mw by the end of the current Iranian year (started March 21), Fars news has reported. The Islamic republic plans to inaugurate and launch three steam units of its combined-cycle power plants with 160mw of power generation capacity each, UPDC managing director, Majid Salehi said.
