Iran's five commercial banks are supplemented by five specialised banks. Chief among them is the Bank of Industry & Mines. The others are Bank Refah Kargaran (Workers' Welfare Bank); Bank Tosee Keshavarzi (Agricultural Development Bank); Bank Maskan (Housing Bank); and Export Development Bank of Iran. There are also two Iranian banks registered abroad: one is UK-registered Iran Overseas Investment Bank; the other is Hamburg-based Europaisch-Iranische Handelsbank.
