Iraq's flagship carrier has resumed its flights to Europe, 19 years after its fleet was grounded by an international embargo imposed after Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990. Its first flight was to Stockholm via Athens, and a statement by the Transport Ministry announced plans to add flight to Bahrain, Germany, India and Qatar.
