Jacco Keijzer

Biography: Jacco Keijzer joined Dutch lender ABN Amro in 1997 and was based in Amsterdam.

He relocated to London in 2004 to join the loan syndication team. In 2006, Keijzer joined the central and eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa debt capital markets team, covering eastern Europe and Africa issuance.

A key part of this role was developing debt capital markets in the Middle East. Since Royal Bank of Scotland’s acquisition of ABN Amro in late 2007, Keijzer has continued in the same role for the UK bank. Based in Dubai, he is responsible for all debt capital markets and loan origination in the region.

Recent deals he has worked on include the $500m debut bond deal by the UAE’s Emaar Properties, Rak Capital’s $400m bond in December 2010, and Abu Dhabi’s International Petroleum Investment Company’s $2.5bn bond issue in November 2010.
