Biography: Jassim Mohamed Seyadi has been CEO of Balexco since 2009, and he oversees production at the 25,000-t/y extrusion facility located next to the Alba smelter in Bahrain.
He has more than 28 years experience in management and was previously general manager of the firm. The company produces extruded products used in the construction industry, and under Seyadi’s leadership, Balexco has increased sales to more than $80m a year. The firm has also opened offices in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Future plans include the installation of an advanced anodising line, powder coating line and upgrading the plant’s four extrusion presses.
Seyadi was educated at Kuwait University and Beirut Arab University. Seyadi is also director of the Russian Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain and chairman of the Bahrain Association for Parents & Friends of Disabled.
