Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways has added two more weekly flights to its schedule for the Kuwait-Jeddah route due to increased demand for the service. Starting September 16, 2009, it will fly to Jeddah five days a week, on Monday to Thursday, and Saturday. The extra flights to Jeddah also complement the airline's existing twice-weekly service to the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
