John Margolis

Position: Dean, Northwestern-University at Qatar

Biography: Before assuming the leadership of Northwestern University in Qatar, John Margolis served as associate provost for faculty affairs at the university’s Evanston campus in the US. A professor of English, he received his doctorate from Princeton University, US.

Margolis has also served on the faculty of the University of California in the US and was also a visiting scholar at the UK’s Cambridge University. He specialises in 19th and 20th century British and American literature.
