Lebanese contractor will build Europe’s tallest seafront residential tower

A joint venture of Lebanon’s Arabian Construction Company (ACC) and Cyprus-based Joannou & Paraskevaides (J&P) has been awarded a contract to build a 170-metre tall residential tower in Cyprus.

Scheduled for completion in 2019, the One tower is ACC’s first project in Cyprus.

The tower will be built on 28th October Avenue in Limassol and will be the tallest residential seafront tower in Europe. It will have 37 storeys with 83 seaview apartments. The building will also feature amenities such as a spa, a fitness centre and swimming pool, and retail space.

ACC has developed extensive experience in high-rise construction in the Middle East region and India. The company was the second-placed contractor globally according to the US-headquartered Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat’s (CTBUH’s) latest rankings based on the top 100 tallest buildings in the world.

ACC’s tower projects in the Middle East include Almas Tower, Princess Tower, Fountain Views, Sky View and Rose Rotana in Dubai; and Sky Tower, Gate Towers, Etihad Towers, and the World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi.
