Local developer Arada has awarded main construction contracts for phase 2 of its Nasma Residences development in Sharjah.

A joint venture of local companies Intermass Engineering & Contracting and Klampfer Middle East will construct the 184 villas and townhouses. Mobilisation will start in February, with handover of units to homeowners planned for the first quarter of 2019.

The main construction contract for work on phase 1 of Nasma Residences was awarded to Intermass last year.

In total, the Nasma Residences project contains 800 homes and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2019.
