Jordan exempts profits of some local exports from income tax

Exemption will include computer and ICT services

Jordan’s finance minister Mohammad Abu Hammour has said the government has approved a draft bylaw to exempt profits from exporting local goods and services from the income tax, Jordan Times has reported. The exemption would include computer and ICT services, economic feasibility studies and services related to legal, engineering and audit consultation in addition to other services related to consultations in the fields of public management, finance, human resources, production management, pharmaceutical studies and contracting, he said.
