Jordan’s Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources (MEMR) has invited companies to submit expressions of interest in exploring the potential of exploring the potential of conventional and nonconventional oil and gas in six open exploration blocks.
MEMR has invited qualified oil and gas companies and consortiums to submit expressions of interest for exploring conventional and/or unconventional gas reserves in the following six blocks:
- Sirhan
- Azraq
- West Safawi
- Northern Highlands
- Jafr
- Dead Sea
The client has set a deadline of 31 December for companies to submit expressions of interest for the contract.
Qualified companies/consortiums will be invited to receive further tender documents in order to prepare and submit exploration work plan to be evaluated by MEMR. Only companies with approved work plans will be eligible to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and/or production sharing agreement (PSA) with MEMR.
