Academy will have a budget of $14.14m for first year
Jordanian education minister has announced a technical education academy is to open at the beginning of the 2011/12 academic year to provide students with applied skills which are in demand on the job market, Jordan Times has reported. The Jordanian Academy for Technical Education will offer two- to three-year technical education programmes in various areas, Walid Maani said, adding that the ministry requested the allocation of JD10m ($14.14m) in the state budget for the academy’s first year.
