Jordan tenders contracts for dam

04 October 2010

Jordan has issued a request for qualification (RFQ) to contractors and has invited bids for advisers for the construction of a dam at Kufranja in the Ajloun governorate, Meed has reported. The selected contractor will construct the 80.5 metre concrete-faced rockfill dam (CFRD) with a spillway, diversion tunnel and access roads. The Kufranja dam will take in water from a 99 square kilometre catchment area. Companies have until October 7 to respond to the RFQ, while October 13 has been set as the deadline for consultants.
