Jordan's Queen Alia airport reports growth

Passenger volumes up 14.8 per cent

Jordan’s Airport International Group has said the number of passengers travelling through the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) climbed 14.8 per cent to more than 1.6 million during the third quarter of this year, Jordan Times has reported. September saw a 26.6 per cent rise to more than 512,000 passengers compared to 405,000 during the same month of last year. The highest traffic volumes in the third quarter were recorded in July, with around 600,000 passengers.
