Position: senior vice president, sales, Sage ERP Africa and head of Sage Middle East and senior vice president sales, Sage ERP X3 AAMEA
As an experienced enterprise resource planning (ERP) specialist with a career spanning 20 years, Fenner has always strived to deliver value to customers and knowledge to staff. He has a background in accounting and believes that technology can drive efficiency and, ultimately, increase profits and returns to shareholders.
He has worked in Europe, Asia, Russia, CIS, Australia/New Zealand, Middle East and Africa.
Fenner has worked at Sage for eight years. In 2006-2008, he was director strategic sales at Sage ERP Africa, where he instigated a more direct approach to customer acquisition through a combination of strategic marketing and prospecting.
Between 2008 and 2012, he served as vice president strategic sales for the same company, growing the business across the sub-Saharan Africa and introduced the Sage ERP X3 product to the local market.
From 2012, Fenner has held the dual role of Senior Vice President Sales for Sage ERP X3 AAMEA (Africa, Asia, Middle East and Australia) and for Sage ERP Africa and Head of Sage Middle East.
He is currently responsible for the sales in Africa across Sages lower and upper mid-market ERP portfolio, running teams in South Africa, East Africa and West Africa. He also runs the Sage Middle East business in Dubai as they look to grow that territory as well as drive the growth of Sage ERP X3 across AAMEA.
