Ken Murray

Position: Middle East and Africa Oil & Gas division manager, Parsons

Biography: Ken Murray manages Parsons’ Oil & Gas division. He was appointed division manager in 2016 and is based in Saudi Arabia.

Murray joined Parsons in 2015 and has nearly 30 years of experience in the engineering, procurement, and construction business in areas including operations management, business development and project management.

Prior to his division manager role, he was North America West division manager for Parsons’ industrial business unit, responsible for the unit’s sales and operations in Western North America, as well as formalising and executing Parsons’ growth strategy.

Prior to joining Parsons, Murray was vice-president of operations for the Canadian division of a large global firm specialising in design, engineering and construction services. While there, he was responsible for developing high-level business relationships with major oil and gas customers, and managing the delivery of their projects.

Murray holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Calgary in Canada, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. He is a professional engineer registered in the province of Alberta with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.
