Kerala medical institute to open Bahraini hospital

India’s Kerala Institute of Medical Science (KIMS) is set to open a new $16m private hospital in Bahrain next November, Gulf Daily News has reported. The four-storey Royal Bahrain Hospital (RBH) will be located behind Joslin Diabetic Centre, near the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC). The new 670-bed hospital will have 24-hours emergency and radiology department, surgical services, a high-end cosmetic, plastic and dermatology centre, a sleep lab and critical care units.
