At least five contractors have been prequalified by King Faisal University for the construction of staff housing units.
The firms include Al-Khodari & Sons Company, Al-Fouzan Trading & General Contracting Company, Al-Kifah Contracting Company, and Azmeel Contracting Company, all local, and Turkey’s Yuksel.
The scope of work covers the construction of 197 villas and is estimated at up to SR500m ($133m).
A bid deadline has been set for 14 March.
KingFaisal University was founded in 1975 and is located in Al-Hassa in the Eastern Province.
