Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) is planning to build a centre specialised in water research at a cost of KD5.7m ($20.61m), Kuwait Times has reported. The centre will work on developing modern techniques on seawater desalination through thermal and membrane methods in order to set specifications based on empirical outcomes.
