Kuwait issues tenders for 1GW solar project

Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has prequalified 28 groups to participate in major solar project bidding round

Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has issued tender documents for its planned 1GW Al-Dibdah photovoltaic (PV) solar project.

The project, which is to be tendered under an engineering, procurement and construction plus finance (EPC+F) contract, has attracted the interest of major regional and international developers and contractors.

The client has set a submission date of 16 December for the project. They have also issued an updated list of 28 prequalified groups for the tender, adding 10 to the originally released list of qualifiers.
