Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW) is preparing to tender a contract for the supply and installation of 400KV overhead electricity lines to feed the new South al-Mutlaa development with electricity.
MEW will issue the tender through the Kuwait tender board within the next 30 days.
The utility will invite the following companies to participate in the tender:
- Elsewedy Electic (Egypt) / Elsewedy Electric Engineering Projects Company (local)
- Hyundai E&C (South Korea) / United Gulf Construction Company (local)
- KEC International (India) /Behman General Trading & Contracing (local)
- Larsen & Toubro (India) / Larsen & Toubro Kuwait
- Mitas Energy & Metal Construction (Turkey) / Matajer al-Khaleej General Trading (local)
- Kalpataru Power Transmission (India) / Thuwainy Trading (local)
- Power Grid Corporation of India / Real Estate Construction & Fabrication (local)
- National Power Construction Corporation (Pakistan) / Gharnata Petroleum Devices (local)
- National Contracting Company (Saudi Arabia)
- SA-RA Energy Construction Trade & Industry (Turkey) / Aslaa General Trading & Contracting Company.
