Kuwait invites firms to bid for Mina Abdullah water deal

Seven groups have been invited to submit bids by 18 November for a construction and maintenance contract for a water distribution complex at Mina Abdullah in Kuwait.

The prospective bidders include the local Al-Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading Company together with Germany’s ABB, the local Combined Group Contracting Company with Japan’s Marubeni, and the local Kharafi National with Italy’s Snamprogretti.

The Electricity & Water Ministry is the client.

Mina Abdullah is located about 40 kilometres south of the capital Kuwait City.
