Kuwait's Ministry of Public Works has invited four local contractors to submit bids by 23 January for a major contract to design, build and maintain new conference halls at Bayan Palace in Kuwait City.
The invited firms are Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading Company, Alghanim International General Trading & Contracting Company, Boodai Construction Company, and Mohamed Abulmohsin al-Kharafi & Sons.
A pre-tender meeting will be held on 25 December.
The estimated $100 million lump-sum engineering, procurement and construction contract involves the construction of a new conference centre at the palace, which is often used as the main meeting location for head of state summits.
