KOC has invited 39 firms to bid. All the firms are on KOC’s register of approved local consultants.
The $2bn township is 40 kilometres south of Kuwait City.
Development work will include the construction of a new road network, upgrading and replacement of utilities, and the construction of 3,500 residential buildings.
The closing date for bids is 24 November.
