The scope of the contract covers the construction of a 132/11 KV substations at the Minagish oil field in the west of the country.
The companies include South Korea’s Hyundai Engineering & Construction Company with United Gulf Construction Company, France-based Merlin Gerin with the local Mohammed Abdulmoshin al-Kharafi & Sons Company and Germany’s ABB Utilities with the local ABB Engineering Technologies Company.
A pre-tender meeting will be held on 18 November and the deadline for bids is 21 December 2008.
The client is the Kuwait Oil Company.
