Kuwait Oil Company issues transmission tenders

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has issued two tenders for the construction of two substation and overhead transmission lines at the Minagish oil field in the west of the country.

The first contract covers the construction of 132kV overhead lines. The second is for the construction of two 132/11kV substations.

Bids for both contracts are due on 21 December.

A total of 14 consortiums have been prequalified for the substations contract. KOC will hold a pre-bid meeting for them on 18 November.

KOC has prequalified 17 groups for the contract to build overhead lines. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 19 November.
