Kuwait's higher education authority issues building tender

Kuwait’s Public Authority for Applied Education & Training has invited a number of local contractors to bid for a KD50m ($172m) university scheme.

The scope of the project covers the construction of 15 to 20 low-rise buildings for a university campus in the Shuwaikh area of the country.

The buildings will be up to three-storeys in height.

The local companies prequalified to bid for the work include Combined Group Contracting Company, Ahmadiah Trading & Contracting Company, Alghanim International Trading & Contracting Company and Mushrif Trading & Contracting Company.

The bid deadline is expected to be mid-March. The project duration is approximately three years.
