Lars-Peter Gronberg

Position: Managing director, GAC Global Marine Leisure Logistics

Biography: Lars-Peter Gronberg is a Swedish national and is managing director for GAC Global Marine Leisure Logistics. Gronberg held senior management positions with GAC in Nigeria from 1994 to 2003. Prior to this, he worked under Bech Management in Denmark from 1991 to 1993.

Gronberg was an officer cadet at the Royal Swedish Naval School and has a bachelor’s of science degree from the Swedish Nautical Science Merchant Marine Academy. Gronberg also holds a postgraduate diploma from the Polytechnic South West in Plymouth in the UK and a diploma in management studies.

GAC Bahrain is one of the largest shipping and forwarding agencies in Bahrain. Gronberg has served as a board member of the General Organisation of Sea Ports since 2006. He is also the head of mission of the Swedish consultate in Bahrain.
