Lebanon's Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud held meetings this week with Middle East Airlines (MEA) and the Lebanese International Business Council to discuss the growing tourism sector and ways to develop it further, reported the Daily Star. The discussions focused on ways to boost tourism to mountain regions such as Broummana and Aley. It was agreed that MEA would offer promotional prices for tourists heading to these areas, and that hotels in the mountains would offer deals to encourage visitors to stay.
