Lebanon's Blom bank reports 15 per cent rise in profit

Assets rose 10 per cent to $22.1bn

Lebanese lender Blom Bank has posted a 15 per cent rise in net profit for the first nine months of the year to $235.8m compared with the same period a year ago, Reuters has reported. Assets for the first nine months of 2010 rose 10 per cent to $22.1bn from the same period last year and deposits rose 10.6 per cent to $19.2bn, the bank said in a statement.
