Mellitah Oil & Gas prequalifying firms for onshore workover rig
Mellitah Oil & Gas Company has invited oil field services firms to prequalify for the provision of a workover rig for its onshore fields in Libya.
The company plans to hire a 1,000-horsepower land workover rig for onshore fields, which will be capable of moving in soft, sandy areas to deep, high-pressure and high-temperature wells.
Interested firms have been requested to submit prequalification documents by 31 October.
Mellitah Oil & Gas is a joint venture of Italys Eni and state-owned National Oil Corporation (NOC). The company has two onshore concessions, NC-118 and the Wafa field, as well as offshore gas fields in the Mediterranean.
