UAE developer awards construction deal to Eastern International
UAE developer Limitless has appointed local contractor Eastern International to complete two residential towers in Jebel Ali.
The AED227.5m ($61.9m) contract will see Eastern International carry out work on two residential towers at the Galleries development in Downtown Jebel Ali, according to a press release from Limitless.
The company statement went on to say that work will start immediately and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2017.
With a combined built-up area of 936,000 square feet, the two towers will comprise 641 apartments as well as ground-floor retail space of up to 68,000 sq ft.
Downtown Jebel Ali is Limitless flagship master community, which has more than 300 third-party plots on which investors will build a mixture of apartments, office, retail developments and hotels. The development is located between Jebel Ali Free Zone and Techno Park. Zone 1 can also be reached by the Dubai Metro through the Jebel Ali Station.
In September, the developer appointed Lebanese consultant Dar al-Handasah to review and enhance the existing infrastructure design and to oversee infrastructure construction.
