LoadAir to increase capital

Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al-Khalifa, Chairman and Managing Director of Kuwait-based freight operator LoadAir, said the company has increased its capital from 20 to 40 million shares to raise enough cash needed for its future expansion plans. LoadAir aims to market air freight services in the region and charter two Boeing airplanes (B747-400 ERF). The company also will be leasing 70 Airbus A320s to several companies through the end of 2010.
