The Muscat project will take 18 months to complete
The local Global Omani Development & Investment Company (Glorei) plans to build a $25m business centre in the Al-Watiyah area of Muscat, Oman.
The local Ibn Khaldoon & Al-Madaein Engineering Consultancy group and Indian engineering firm Larsen & Toubro have been appointed to design and build the business facilities on the development. The project will take about 18 months to complete.
The six-storey Maktabi 2 development will contain offices, exhibition halls and other associated facilities. The project will cover an area of 22,000 square metres.
Glorei recently announced plans for a Maktabi 1 development in the Al-Khuwair area of Muscat. The project is similar in scope to Maktabi 2, but on a smaller scale, and will also contain offices and associated facilities.
