Project involves building two towers
Contractors in Jordan are waiting for Abu Dhabi’s Al-Maabar to issue tender documents for the contract to build its St Regis hotel development in Amman.
The two-tower development will be built in the at fifth circle intersection, close to Amman’s city centre, business district, and major shopping areas.
The first tower will be the five-star hotel, while the second will be a residential tower called The Residences.. The total built-up area is 86,000 square metres. The site covers an area of 18,000 sq m. Al-Maabar expects the project to be completed in mid-2014.
The local office of KEO International Consultants is the programme manager. The development is owned by Al-Maabar’s local affiliate Al-Maabar Abdoun Real Estate Development Company.
